PP-I-18We have showed that the phenomenon of oscillations can be observed for reactions withparticipation of different alkynes, and also in different catalytic systems, for example, insystem PdBr 2 - LiBr, in which the occurrence of chaotic oscillations was demonstrated. Onemore reaction - oxidative carbonylation of phenylacetylene in system PdBr 2 -LiBr-H 2 O-acetone can proceed in an oscillatory mode also. The preliminary mechanism of this processis proposed.ConclusionThe study of mechanisms of some other processes in organometallic catalysis allows us toexpect occurrence of self-oscillations and other critical phenomena. The searching for suchphenomena is important for development of the theory of catalytic reaction mechanisms.
