Novelty <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> construction consists in several items. The reactorrepresents a system «cylinder-piston» made from aluminium alloys, work surfaces <strong>of</strong> whichcovered by chemically, mechanically and <strong>the</strong>rmally stable aluminium oxide Al 2 O 3 preparedby <strong>the</strong>rmo-electrochemical oxidation technology. The piston remains static whereas <strong>the</strong>cylinder is a moving part; this allows to control <strong>the</strong> technological regimes easily by means <strong>of</strong>regulation <strong>of</strong> pressure in reaction chamber. Necessary air-tightness <strong>of</strong> system is reachedthanks to size and surface fitting <strong>of</strong> cylinder and piston without a use <strong>of</strong> traditional sealingrings. High antifriction characteristics <strong>of</strong> work surfaces from aluminium oxide allow to refuseoiling <strong>of</strong> system «cylinder-piston»; this not only prevents a contamination <strong>of</strong> reactionproducts but also allows to raise <strong>the</strong> temperature <strong>of</strong> process without a fear <strong>of</strong> carbon smut.The design makes provision for efficient system <strong>of</strong> maintenance <strong>of</strong> steady-state conditions bymeans <strong>of</strong> control <strong>of</strong> basic parameters <strong>of</strong> process. The simplicity <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> construction may be anadvantage in <strong>the</strong> case <strong>of</strong> use <strong>of</strong> similar reactors in <strong>the</strong> processes <strong>of</strong> petrochemical syn<strong>the</strong>sis,especially in «field» conditions, for example, at processing <strong>of</strong> casing-head gas on oil well.289
