CLAUSON.] [April 23, 1918.WHEREAS it is necessary to make provision for such Preamble,expenses of the Government of Cyprus for the yearending the thirty-first day of March, 1919, as are notalready lawfully provided for or shall not hereafter beprovided for by any Law.BE it therefore enacted by His Excellency the High Commissionerand Commander-in-Chief of the Island of Cyprus,with the advice and consent of the Legislative Councilthereof, as follows:—1. This Law may be cited as the Appropriation Law, 1918. Short title.2. In addition to the sums already lawfully appropriated Appropnatothe service of the King or which may be hereafter law- £3°(5i°/i9fully appropriated thereto, there shall be issued and appliedto the service of the twelve months ending the thirty-firstday of March, 1919, any sum not exceeding the sum ofThree Hundred and One Thousand, Four Hundred andNineteen Pounds for defrajdng the charge of the Governmentof Cyprus for such period.3.
