CLAUSON,A PROCLAMATION.High Commissioner.WHEREAS by a Proclamation, dated the 5thAugust, 1914, Martial Law was proclaimedm and over the Island of Cyprus.AND WHEBEAS by a Proclamation, dated the6th August, 1917, the exportation of the goodstherein mentioned was prohibited in manner thereinappearing.AND WHEBEAS by Proclamations, dated the16th and 30th August, and the 10th October, 1917,and the 10th January, the 4th March and the14th June, 1918, the Proclamation secondly recitedwas amended and added to in certain particulars.AND WHEREAS it is desirable that the Proclamationsecondly recited as amended and addedto should be amended in manner hereinafterappearing.Now I, John Eugene Clauson, Major in theReserve of Oflficers of the Corps of Royal Engineers,Knight Commander of the Most DistinguishedOrder of Saint Michael and Saint George, Commanderof the Royal Victorian Order, His Majesty'sffigh Comnussioner and Commander-in-C!hief inand over the Island of Cyprus, do hereby ord^and proclaim as foUows :—1.
