CLAUSON,HighA PROCLAMATION.Commissioner."TT<strong>THE</strong>REAS by a Proclamation, dated the 5thY T August, 1914, Martial Law was proclaimedin and over the Island of Cyprus.AND WHEREAS by a Proclamation, dated the6th August, 1917, the exportation of the goodstherein mentioned was prohibited in manner thereinappearing.AND WHEREAS by Proclamations, dated the16th and SOth August, and the 10th October, 1917,and the 10th January, the 4th March, the 14tliJune, the 20th July, the 29th August, and the17th September, 1918, the Proclamation secondlyrecited was amended and added to in certainparticulars.AND WHEREAS it is desirable that the Proclamationsecondly recited as amended and addedto should be amended in manner hereinafterappearing.Now 1, John Eugene Clauson, Major in theReserve of Officers of the Corps of Royal Engineers,Knight Commander of the Most DistinguishedOrder of Saint Michael and Saint George,Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, HisMajesty's High Commissioner and Commander-in-Chief in and over the Island of Cyprus do herebyorder and proclaim as follows:—1. That paragraph 1 of the above recited Proclamation,dated the 20th July, 1918, be herebycancelled,2. That the exportation of the goods marked(c) in Schedule I. of the above recited Proclamation,dated the 6th August, 1917, as amended andadded to. be prohibited to all destinations inEuropean and Asiatic Russia and in otlaer foreigncountries in Europe and on the Mediterranean,except France and French Possessions, Italy andItaHan Possessions, and Portugal, and to all portsin any such foreign countries.3. That Schedule 1. of the said Proclamation,dated the 6th August, 1917, as amended andadded to, be amended by making the followingamendments in and additions to the same :—(1) That the following headings should bedeleted :—Chemicals, etc., the following :—(B) Ammonia and its salts, whether simpleor compound, and mixtures containing suchsalts (except ammonia liquor, liquefied# ammonia, ammonium alum, ammoniumcarbonate, chloride, nitrate, perchlorate,sulphate and sulphocyanide, and nickelammonium sulphate, and mixtures containingsuch ammonium salts).(B) Ammonia, liquefied.(B) Ammonia Uquor.(B) Ammonium alum and mixtures containingammonium alum.(B) Ammonium carbonate and mixtures containingammonium carbonate.(B) Ammonium chloride, including muriate ofammonia and sal-ammoniac, and mixturescontaining these substances.(B) Ammonium nitrate and mixtures containingammonium nitrate.(B) Ammonium perchlorate and mixtures containingammonium perchlorate.(B) Ammonium sulphate and sulphocyanide.(B) Antimony, sulphides and oxides of.(c) Araroba or Goa powder.(B) Barium sulphate.(c) Chrysarobin-(B) Indigo, natural and synthetic.(c) Liquorice roots and juice.(B) Nickel ammonium sulphate and mixturescontaining nickel ammonium sulphate.(B) NUX vomica and its preparations.(c) Sodium bicarbonate.(2) That the following headings should beadded:—(c) Acid-resisting apparatus made of quartz andparts of such apparatus made of quartz.(B) Carbon, coke oven.(B) Carbon, pitch.Chemicals, etc., the following :—(B) Aconite root.(B) Ajowan seeds.(B) Ammonia and its salts, whether simple orcompound, and mixtures containing suchsalts.(B) Antimony, sulphides and oxides of, andmixtures containing sulphides or oxides ofantimony.(B) Araroba or Goa powder.(B) Barium sulphate and mixtures containingbarium sulphate.(B) Calumba root.(B) Catechu.(B) Chrysarobin.(c) Indigo, natural.(B) Indigo, synthetic.(B) Liquorice root and juice.(B) NUX vomica.(B) NUX vomica, preparatioms of.(B) Quassia wood.(B) Sodium bicarbonate.ΚΥΠΡΙΑΚΗ ΔΗΜΟΚΡΑΤΙΑ
