Variola, and the moving ofSheep and Goats out of the area so notified into anyundeclared area is forbidden until further orders :—Palaekythro, Trachoni, Neon Chorion, in the Districtof Nicosia.5th December, 1918. BEVAN,Director of AgricvUxwe.TRADE MARKS ADVERTISEMENTS.ADVERTISEMENTS under the Trade MarksRegistration Law, 1910, are pubhshed in aSupplement to this Gazette (M.P. 1201/11.)No. 691.TENDERS FOR SALT FOR EXPORT.TENDERS are hereby invited for the sale for exportfrom Larnaca of a quantity not exceeding 2,000tons of salt. The salt is stacked at the margin of theSalt Lake, Larnaca.2. The Govemment exacts the following conditions:—(a) That the minimum quantity to be sold forexport be 500 tons.(b) That whatever salt be taken must be exportedimmediately under Customs supervision. Anyquantity not exported must be returned to GovemmentStores at once, failing which an additionalcharge of 50 paras an oke should be paid on it.(c) No salt at all to remain in private hands exceptduring shipment and no longer.(d) The exporter to give a bond to the Chief Collectorof Customs covenanting to export all thesalt to any port or ports to be named, subject tothe approval of the Chief Secretary to Government.Such bond to become forfeit if that saltor any part of it shall not be so dehvered(accidents at sea, etc., excepted).(e) The cost of weighing and removal from the SaltLake to be borne by the exporter or purchaser,who will also pay the cost of guards on the saltwhile being exported on ship and on land.(/) That the quantity of salt purchased be exportedon or before the SOth June, 1919.{g) That, within fifteen days from the date of receiptof information that his tender has been accepted,the exporter shall deposit with the Chief Collectorof Customs a sum equal to one shilling for everyton of salt tendered for, such sum to become forfeitif he fails to export same within the period aboveprescribed, or one shilling for every ton of saltwhich he shall fail to export within the abovementioned period.3. All tenders should be sealed, and should beaddressed to the President of the Tender Board, theOffice of the Treasurer, Nicosia.4. Tenders should either be deposited in the TenderBox outside the Office of the Treasurer or be sentthrough the post. Postage on any tender sent throughthe Post must be prepaid ; otherwise, delivery of thesame will not be accepted.5. Tenders should be marked *' Tender for salt forexport" in the left hand top corner of the envelope,and should reach the Office of the Treasurer not laterthan 11 a.m. on the 7th January, 1919.6. No Tender will be considered unless in respectof it all the conditions above laid down have beenstrictly fulfilled.7.
