In the Principal Law, Section 2, the paragraph con- Amendn^ttaining the definition of "land" is hereby repealed, of 18*99, s.'2.The following definitions are hereby added to the saidsection:—The word "land" includes land (with the grazing rights,and aU water and water rights on over or under suchland), buildings, trees, easements, and standing crops.It also includes other water and water rights when theacquisition thereof is required for the construction orservice of any railway or harbour, provided that thereshall not be any other reasonably accessible means ofobtaining such water as is necessary for the purposes ofsuch railway or harbour.The words '* undertaking of pubhc utiUty " means anyundertaking of a pubUc nature, civil naval or miUtary,which the High Commissioner shall by notification in theCyprus Gazette declare to be an undertaking of pubUcutiUty, whether the cost of such undertaking is to beborne by the public funds of Cyprus or by His Majesty'sNaval or Military Authorities.3. This Law may be cited as the Medical Registration short title.Law, 1918, and shall be read as one with the MedicalRegistration Law, 1917, (hereinafter referred to as thePrincipal Law) and the Principal Law and this Law maytogether be cited as the Medical Registration Laws, 1917and 1918.2. Section 9 (1) {b) of the Principal Law shall be Amendmentamended by the insertion after the words " by two °f J^gYv.I^gpractitioners" of the words "or other persons of good (i)(6).'standing satisfactory to the Medical Assessors."3.
