CLAUSON,High Commissioner and Commander-in-Chief.WHEREAS by an Order, dated the 7th July,1917, a Statutory List of Cyprus was declaredof persons or bodies of persons with whomtrade by all persons or bodies of persons, incorporatedor unincorporated, resident, carrying onbusiness, or being in Cyprus, was forbidden astherein mentioned.AND WHEREAS it is desirable that the saidOrder, dated the 7th July, 1917, should beamended in manner hereinafter appearing.Now I, John Eugene Clauson, Major in theReserve of Officers of the Corps of Royal Engineers,Knight Commander of the Most DistinguishedOrder of Saint Michael and Saint George, Commanderof the Royal Victorian Order, His Majesty'sHigh Commissioner and Commander-in-Chief inand over the Island of Cyprus, do hereby orderas follows:—1. The current Statutory List of Cyprus ishereby declared to be No. 41A the ConsohdatingStatutory List, complete to the 7-th December,1917. (The dates which precede the names appearingin the said Consohdating Statutory Listdo not form part of such list for the purpose ofthe Statutory List of Cyprus.)2. The Order, dated the 4th January, 1918, ishereby cancelled.Given under the hand and oflficial seal of theHigh Commissioner and Commander-in-Chief at Nicosia, this 8th day of March,1918.
