A BILLTo APPROPRIATE A SUM NOT EXCEEDING THREE HUNDREDAND ONE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED AND NINETEENPOUNDS TO THE SERVICE OF THE TWELVE MONTHSENDING THE THIRTY-FIRST DAY OF MARCH, IN THEYEAR OF OUR LORD ONE THOUSAND NINE HUNDREDAND NINETEEN.WHEREAS it is necessary to make provision for suchexpenses of the Government of Cyprus for the yearending the thirty-first day of March, 1919, as are notalready lawfuUy provided for or shall not hereafter beprovided for by any Law.BE it therefore enacted by His Excellency the High Commissionerand Commander-in-Chief of the Island of Cyprus,with the advice and consent of the Legislative Councilthereof, as follows:—1. This Law may be cited as the Appropriation Law, 1918.2. In addition to the sums already lawfully appropriatedto the service of the King or which may be hereafter lawfullyappropriated thereto, there shall be issued and appliedto the service of the twelve months ending the thirty-firstday of March, 1919, any sum not exceeding the sum ofThree Hundred and One Thousand, Four Hundred andNineteen Pounds for defraying the charge of the Govemmentof Cyprus for such period.3. A sum not exceeding the amount set down under eachhead in the Schedule hereto may be issued and spent inrespect of the Estabhshment or Service specified and referredto therein; provided that the total sum spent on PersonalEmoluments during the financial year, appropriated underthis law, shall not exceed the sum of One Hundred andEleven Thousand Nine Hundred and Eighty-four Pounds.SCHEDXJIJE.VOTE. £2.
