The Land Registry Office may also sell so much property as isnecessary to recover the charges incurred in such office and pay them to thejudgment creditor; Provided that when the debt does not exceed £10 thecreator shall not recover a greater amount of costs than the amount of higdebt.6. Sections 20, 21, and 94 of Law 10 of 1885, so far as repugnant to thisLaw are repealed.7. The High Commissioner, with the advice and assistance of the ChiefJustice, may make Rules for the carrying out of the objects of this Law.APPENDIX E.A BILL FOR <strong>THE</strong> RELIEF OF INSOLVENT FARMERSPART I.1. Whenever it shall appear to the Judge of a District Court that anyperson, being a farmer, is insolvent, such Judge may, with the consent ofsuch person, or upon the apphcation of one or more of his creditors, declarehim to be insolvent, ;ind shall thereupon make an order staying all actionsagainst him.PARTII.Procedure.2. On the date of such order, all property available for distribution,including all property which may devolve on the insolvent during his insolvency,shall be administered by the Registrar of the District Court, and fromthe date aforesaid all actions and other proceedings, which in bankruptcywould be brought by or against the Syndics, must be brought by or againstthe Registrar.3. The insolvent shaU make a full report to the Registrar of aU propertiesavailable for distribution. He shaU give a hst of all properties disposedof by him within two years of the declaration of insolvency, settingout the consideration received, the date and all other particulars of thetransaction which the Registrar may require.4. The Registrar may summon a meeting of the creditors, or take suchother measures of ascertaining the wishes of the creditors, as he may thinkfit.5. If any creditor opposes the declaration of insolvency, the Registrarmay refer the matter to be heard before the District Court, or a Judge thereof,and the Court, or Judge, may either rescind or affirm the declara^tion ofinsolvency.6. The Registrar shaU, after enquiry, notify to the Judge the date ofthe cessation of payments.7. The creditors entitled to prove, and their priorities .inter se, shail bethe same as in bankruptcy under the Bankruptcy Law, and they shall beentitled to prove such debts as they are entitled to prove in a bankruptcyimder the Bankruptcy Law.8. AU property available for distribution in bankruptcy, save so muchas would be e3fempt from execution under any law, for the time being inforce, shall be divided pro rata among the creditors of the insolvent, dueregard being had to the rights of privileged or secured creditors.ΚΥΠΡΙΑΚΗ ΔΗΜΟΚΡΑΤΙΑ
