While <strong>Lee</strong> <strong>University</strong>'s network administration desires to provide areasonable level of privacy, users should be aware that <strong>Lee</strong> <strong>University</strong>retains the right to review, backup, and otherwise control data created onthe university systems. This does not supersede the Intellectual PropertyRights policy,(IP Policy) but is intended to preserve the security andintegrity of the <strong>Lee</strong> <strong>University</strong> computing environment. <strong>Lee</strong> <strong>University</strong>management cannot guarantee the confidentiality of information stored byusers, on any network device belonging to <strong>Lee</strong> <strong>University</strong>.2. Employees are responsible for exercising good judgment regarding thereasonableness of personal use. Individual departments are responsiblefor creating guidelines concerning personal use ofInternet/Intranet/Extranet systems. In the absence of such policies,employees should be guided by departmental policies on personal use,and if there is any uncertainty, employees should consulttheir supervisor or manager.3. For security and network maintenance purposes, authorized individualswithin <strong>Lee</strong> <strong>University</strong> may monitor equipment, systems and network trafficat any time, per ITS’ discretion.<strong>Lee</strong> <strong>University</strong> reserves the right to audit networks and systems on a periodic basis toensure compliance with this policy.MOODLE Policies and ProceduresIntroductionThis document is intended to serve as a set of guidelines for decision-making related tothe use of the MOODLE LMS at <strong>Lee</strong> <strong>University</strong>. This document will reside online for easeof access, as well as to ensure its currency. Do not rely on printed copies of thisdocument without first verifying their accuracy against subsequent updates. Changes tothese policies will be reflected in the “Last Updated” date listed at the end of the onlinedocument.AccessAccess to MOODLE learning management software, materials, and affiliated online toolswill be granted as follows:One User AccountAll <strong>Lee</strong> <strong>University</strong> students, faculty members, and staff are allowed one MOODLEaccount each intended to be used for all of their MOODLE activities.
