Serve as the point of contact, problem solver, and source of information for studentsand/or faculty on curriculum issues within the DAL programs.3. Provide academic oversight for the division’s programs to ensure they are conductedin accordance with the academic policies of the Division, <strong>University</strong>, and accreditingbodies.4. Maintain a list of needed and existing courses to support DAL degree programs,including timelines for development and enhancements.5. Maintain ongoing quality control systems in the curriculum development process.6. Work with the Executive Director to identify new programs and courses, guiding themthrough the appropriate university approval process.7. Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.Director of <strong>Faculty</strong> Services, Division of Adult LearningThe Director of <strong>Faculty</strong> Services reports directly to the Executive Director of theDivision of Adult Learning (DAL), and provides leadership and direction for all facultyservices in the DAL. In conjunction with other DAL and traditional School academicleaders, he/she manages the recruitment, scheduling, evaluation, and development offaculty in the adult programs at <strong>Lee</strong> <strong>University</strong>. Responsibilities include:1. Recruit, hire, supervise and direct development of faculty and advisors.2. Prepare recommendations regarding faculty personnel and policies.3. Coordinate faculty/student academic advising.4. Work with the Executive Director and Director of Curriculum Services to schedule,advertise, and coordinate courses needed in any given academic term.5. Submit faculty and advising budget recommendations to the Executive Director.6. Coordinate regular payment to faculty and advisors.7. Coordinate and prepare responses to federal, state, and SACS-COC regulations inrelation to faculty academic qualifications and teaching skills.8. Teach an appropriate course load.9. Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.Director of Charlotte Education CenterThe Director of the Charlotte Education Center reports directly to the ExecutiveDirector of the Division of Adult Learning (DAL), and provides administrative leadership,in coordination with the DAL offices, for academic programs and services, buildingoperations, student services, enrollment management, and marketing in the specifiedregion. He/she initiates and builds relationships with local governmental and serviceorganizations to enhance the mission of the <strong>University</strong>, and ensures compliance with<strong>Lee</strong>’s policies and procedures and regulatory agency rules and regulations in the safeand efficient operation of the Education Center and other sites in the region.Responsibilities include:1. Lead and carry out a strategic vision for the Charlotte Center that aligns it to theuniversity’s growth plan and strategic goals.2. Oversee the operations of the Charlotte Center.3. Develop the <strong>Lee</strong> <strong>University</strong> culture in the university’s adult programs in Charlotte.4. Develop measurable goals and objectives for the Charlotte Center and monitor theirattainment.5. Develop measureable goals and objectives for the region and monitor theirattainment.6. Ensure programs, internal processes, and customer services are conducted inaccordance with the policies of the DAL, university, and external regulatory agencies.3 - 48 Organization
