Assume other duties as assigned by the Vice President for Student Development.Dean of StudentsThe Dean of Students is directly responsible to the Vice President for StudentDevelopment. Specific duties are as follows:1. Assist in the formulation and implementation of student discipline policies.2. Receive and investigate reports of violations of the rules and regulations outlined inthe Student <strong>Handbook</strong> and Activities Calendar.3. Coordinate efforts of disciplinary Judicial Board.4. Maintain confidential student records.5. Prepare a proposed budget for the office of the Dean of Students.6. Assist in revising and publishing the Student <strong>Handbook</strong> and Activities Calendar.7. Carry a part–time teaching load.8. Coordinate student clubs and organizations on campus and maintain Clubs andOrganizations Procedure Manual.9. Plan and implement an orientation for sponsors of student organizations.10. Be responsible for overseeing chapel attendance, keeping records and implementingdiscipline for students who violate the chapel attendance policy.11. Prepare the Parents’ Guide to Student Development Manual for parents of first-yearstudents.12. Supervise the Greek Council.13. Assume other duties as assigned by the Vice President for Student Development.<strong>University</strong> RelationsVice President for <strong>University</strong> RelationsThe Vice President for <strong>University</strong> Relations is directly responsible to the President foradvancing <strong>Lee</strong> <strong>University</strong> through internal and external communications, strategicmarketing, university events, fundraising and the development of relationships with keyconstituency groups at the local, state, and national level.The duties include:1. Supervise and coordinate the services of the following offices:2. Church Relations3. Community Relations4. Development/Central Gifts5. Ministerial Relations6. Public Relations7. Publications8. Special Events9. Alumni Relations10. Early Learning Center11. Formulate policies and direct programs relative to the financial support of theuniversity from all philanthropic sources.12. Develop a cohesive communications, visual identity, marketing and brandingstrategy for the university.13. Promote public understanding of and support for <strong>Lee</strong> <strong>University</strong>.14.
