Strangest <strong>of</strong> all,it is found unmistakably in Mexico. 54 Tyler, in his “PrimitiveCulture” (ii. p. 197) refers to “<strong>the</strong> Aztec ceremony at <strong>the</strong> SecondFestival <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Sun God, Tezcatlipoca, when <strong>the</strong>y sprinkled maizeflour before his sanctuary, <strong>and</strong> his high priest watched till hebeheld <strong>the</strong> divine footprints, <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong>n shouted to announce, ‘OurGreat God is come.’ ”The Two Feet SymbolThe Ankh on Megalithic CarvingsThere is very strong evidence <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> connexion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>Megalithic People with North Africa. Thus, as Sergi points [78]out, many signs (probably numerical) found on ivory tabletsin <strong>the</strong> cemetery at Naqada discovered by Flinders Petrie areto be met with on European dolmens.
