Causes and corrective actionsOperation PanelIndicationNameDescriptionCheck pointCorrective actionFR-PU04 Fault 14E.ILFFR-PU07 Input phase lossInput phase lossThis fault is output when function valid setting (=1) is set in Pr. 872 Input phase loss protection selectionand one phase of the three phase power input is lost. When the setting of Pr. 872 Input phase lossprotection selection is the initial value (Pr. 872 = "0"), this fault does not occur. (Refer to InstructionManual (applied) chapter 4.)Check for a break in the cable for the three-phase power supply input.· Wire the cables properly.· Repair a brake portion in the cable.· Check the Pr. 872 Input phase loss protection selection setting.Operation PanelIndicationNameE.OLTFR-PU04FR-PU07Stll Prev STP ( OL shown during stallprevention operation)Stall preventionDescriptionIf the frequency has fallen to 0.5Hz by stall prevention operation and remains for 3s, a fault (E.OLT)appears and trips the inverter. OL appears while stall prevention is being activated.Check point · Check the motor for use under overload. (Refer to Instruction Manual (applied) chapter 4.)Corrective action · Reduce the load weight.Operation PanelIndicationNameDescriptionCheck pointCorrective actionOperation PanelIndicationNameDescriptionCheck pointCorrective actionOperation PanelIndicationNameDescriptionCheck pointCorrective actionOperation PanelIndicationNameDescriptionCheck pointCorrective actionFR-PU04E.GFGround FaultFR-PU07Output side earth (ground) fault overcurrentThis function stops the inverter output if an earth (ground) fault overcurrent flows due to an earth(ground) fault that occurred on the inverter's output (load) side.Check for an earth (ground) fault in the motor and connection cable.Remedy the earth (ground) fault portion.FR-PU04E.LFE. LFFR-PU07Output phase lossThis function stops the inverter output if one of the three phases (U, V, W) on the inverter's output side(load side) is lost.· Check the wiring (Check that the motor is normal.)· Check that the capacity of the motor used is not smaller than that of the inverter.· Wire the cables properly.· Check the Pr. 251 Output phase failure protection selection setting.FR-PU04E.OHTOH FaultFR-PU07External thermal relay operationIf the external thermal relay provided for motor overheat protection, or the internally mountedtemperature relay in the motor, etc. switches on (contacts open), the inverter output is stopped.Functions when "7" (OH signal) is set to any of Pr. 178 to Pr. 189 (input terminal function selection). This protective function does not function in the initial status (OH signal is not assigned).· Check for motor overheating.· Check that the value of 7 (OH signal) is set correctly in any of Pr. 178 to Pr. 189 (input terminal functionselection).· Reduce the load and operating duty.· Even if the relay contacts are reset automatically, the inverter will not restart unless it is reset.FR-PU04 Fault 14E.PTCFR-PU07 PTC activatedPTC thermistor operationTrips when the motor overheat status is detected for 10s or more by the external PTC thermistor inputconnected to the terminal AU.This fault functions when "63" is set in Pr. 184 AU terminal function selection and AU/PTC switchoverswitch is set in PTC side. When the initial value (Pr. 184 = "4") is set, this fault does not occur.· Check the connection between the PTC thermistor switch and thermal relay protector.· Check the motor for operation under overload.· Is valid setting ( = 63) selected in Pr. 184 AU terminal function selection ? (Refer to InstructionManual (applied) chapter 4.)Reduce the load weight.100
