Here we mostly find thefoundations of personal desire, polemics, second-rate ethical philosophysuch as that of Ahad ha’Am and Aaron David Gordon. <strong>The</strong> method of“practical” Zionist ideology is a literary method, which gives great freedomfor evading the truth and for following the path of personal desire. In thedebate that exists between the truth and the author, this method alwaystakes the side of the author. <strong>The</strong> subjective-tactical basis is far strongerthan the analytical one and its purpose is to aid the author, who demandsfor himself extensive pampering rights, to struggle with concepts whoseroots are in objective truth. This literary practice, which is aided by anabundance of tactics, was first used by Ahad ha’Am in his war againstHerzl. Later, it turned into the standard tool of the leftist-Zionistideologues and of the great majority of Zionist propaganda. It served as atool that allowed the political parties to prove almost anything that theywished: To prove that a state is not desirable, and later that it is desirable,to condemn and to justify aggressive actions against Arabs, to sabotagecertain social processes, and to accept them. This tactic is by its nature, asstated, a characteristically subjective tool that serves only he who choosesto avail himself of it. <strong>The</strong> damage that is caused by the frequent use of thistactic is great indeed.<strong>The</strong> State of Israel, in its current condition, is a part of the Diaspora.
