253forces of the experimental from reaching the deeper levels, and at theappropriate time, to diminish them and to eliminate them in a great attack.In the matter of appraisal of the success of the three experiments, the lies,which are accepted in Israeli society, continue to grow and flourish. Eachexperiment announces, in one breath, both its unprecedented success and itsapprehensions and the difficulties that come from the fact that it has not yetcompletely succeeded, and it remains stuck in the dangerous zone of theexperimental. Each experiment has victory celebrations, whose purpose isto show that it has finally reached the safe haven. But immediatelyafterward, the leaders of the celebration mourn the limited success, thedangers that await it, and the need for tremendous aid, without which theexperiment is in danger of collapsing at its foundations… From its wish tomaintain itself, no matter what, each experiment, and all of them together,use unethical means. <strong>The</strong> Israeli fund collections, the external arm of thethree experiments, use street tactics that are both unethical and completelyconventional, in order to raise the necessary funds to ensure the survival ofthese noble values. <strong>The</strong> Israeli social science establishment refuses to givethe correct impression of the situation of the Sephardo-Mizrahi masses.Because of the deception and lies, the <strong>Ashkenazi</strong> settlement in the State ofIsrael is unaware of the true situation of, and of the odds of advancementof, the Sephardo-Mizrahi diasporas that are destined to immigrate to Israel.<strong>The</strong>re is no doubt that social research, in this vital area, has been chokedthrough despotic and totalitarian methods. <strong>The</strong> scientific material thatdeals with this matter is scarce and difficult to acquire. In one paper I evencame across a note that, for security reasons, it is forbidden to publish anumber of details. <strong>The</strong> announcement that was spread by Ben Haroush andhis supporters, in the days of the riots of Wadi Salib in July, 1959, which isthe most interesting document in the issue of the relationship betweenAshkenaz and Sepharad in the State of Israel, and one of the mostinteresting documents in all of Hebrew history – this announcementdisappeared and was hidden by means of deceit and trickery from the eyesof the <strong>Ashkenazi</strong> community. <strong>The</strong> inspector general Nahmias mentioned itwith a few confused words at the investigative council headed by JudgeEtzioni.
