219If Yiddish is brought to the backward people, then they will cease being aMizrahi people and they will turn into a quasi-European people that speaksMizrahi Yiddish. <strong>The</strong> will of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, that theirdescendants necessarily be a “congregation of peoples” and not one people,is stronger than us. But this unity would be stronger than it is today and theflexibility that is built into Yiddish would mitigate the severity of theconflict. Yiddish would be able to rehabilitate the junk of the backwardpeople and turn them into a mediocre people that is prepared for a future inthis era. <strong>The</strong> first problem that this people would encounter, in its newpath, would be linked to the Arab minority in the State of Israel. <strong>The</strong>masses of Arab laborers are destined to be a dangerous competitor to theworking classes of Sephardo-Mizrahim. <strong>The</strong>re will not always be a largedemand for simple manual labor, as there is today. It will not be longbefore economics will force us to expel the Arab minority for the sake ofthe Sephardo-Mizrahim. Ashkenaz will then stand by them with all itsstrength. <strong>The</strong> expulsion of the Arabs will strengthen the ties, andsolidarity, between the two Jewish peoples. In the more distant future, itmight be necessary to annex territories to Israel in order to providesustenance for the growing Sephardo-Mizrahi masses. Ashkenaz will lendthem a helping hand also in this matter.
