266Had I intended to delineate an ideological path for a religious movement, then I would have to thus end the book. For the idea of the Jewish religionis time. Other concepts interest it very little. But Ashkenazi nationalism isnot only religious but also political, that is to say it carries within it thedesire for space. I propose to express this desire through an Ashkenazi flagin the colors blue and green. The blue will symbolize the heavens of theforefront of Asia, the ancient birthplace of the House of Jacob. The colorgreen will symbolize the wonderful planes of Eastern France and theprovinces of the Rhine in which Ashkenaz was forged as a Europeanpeople. The flag of Ashkenaz will be the flag of one of the greatest peoplesin the world, a nation that has a state at the forefront of Asia and majorcamps in all key areas of modern civilization. The flag of Ashkenaz willsymbolize the world struggle of the Ashkenazi nation and its desire toconquer space. For a flag is not a symbol of time but of space and war forspace. The flag is an accessory of war, a banner that distinguishes the heartof a position from which a battle is staged. The blue-white flag of the Stateof Israel is a flag under which the Jewish peoples of the State of Israel fighttheir shared war against the external enemy. This is the only meaning ofthat bland flag. As testimony to its blandness, I cite the fact that the rulingpower in the state, the Labor movement, refuses to satisfy itself with italone and flies, in addition to it, the international red flag. The Ashkenaziflag will be the flag of one people that believes in one eternity, and strivesto rule space for the glory of Ashkenazi eternity. The flag of Ashkenaz is abattle flag. For only an implication of battle can justify the existence of aJewish flag. If the Jewish flag has no implication of battle, then it is notneeded at all, and we could satisfy ourselves with Jewish symbols of timealone.3The organizational framework that would work in the spirit of the conceptslaid out in this book would be an Ashkenazi political party. The party willbe completely closed and locked to non-Ashkenazim. Mixed marriagesbetween Ashkenazim and non-Ashkenazim are a natural occurance in theState of Israel. For this reason any Jew with one Ashkenazi parent, father
