168goal was always to rule. There are two sides to power: Money andrepresentation. Shin Shalom was primarily concerned with material wealthand Hazaz’s heart desired representation. When Levi Eshkol announced in that meeting: “I stand shoulder toshoulder with the Literature”, the small minds of the literary foxes -representatives of the literary gang - melted away (Mr. Avraham Kariv wasan honest and scriptural man among them, and he was the exception). Haim Hazaz, regarding theRevisionist Underground, had now revealed this parasitic diligence, whichwas developed over generations. This matter of the Underground has beenattracting more and more public attention. The shameful role that HebrewLiterature played in this matter is recognizable to any honest person, and itcripples the activities of the Literary Trust. Hazaz attempts to patch this
