Jański who completed hisdegree in Architecture in the College of Fine Arts at the Royal University ofWarsaw, and continued to work as a talented architect in Warsaw. Amongother projects, he collaborated with another colleague of Jański, AlphonseKropiwnicki, in the final phases of the Grand Theater. Later, he directed thebuilding of the palace in Puławy. He prepared the plans for the Main Office ofthe Agricultural Credit Union in Warsaw. He also served on the Council of theGovernment Building Commission.
