A few books publishedin France have dealt with conditions of poverty and methods of remedying thesituation: one by Manssion 62 and a second by Perigot. 63 Currently the papersare advertising another work by Duchatel, 64 De la Charite Sous les Raports dela Morale et du Bien Кtre des Classes Inferieures de la Societe. Duchatelwrites articles on Political Economy for ―The Globe‖. I have not read any ofhis writings 65 as yet, but they generally receive high praise.A very complete history of Political Economy, written in Italian byJoseph Pecchio, 66 was recently published in Italy.
