To be specific, 4 modules divided into approx. thirty, forty-five-minute lessons were developed, which<br />

tog<strong>et</strong>her gives 60 lessons of 30- 45 min.<br />

Programme is <strong>des</strong>igned for A2 (pre-intermediate) learners, to be used in classroom or as an interactive<br />

self-study tool at home.<br />

Quite complex and d<strong>et</strong>ailed guidebook on m<strong>et</strong>hodology was prepared, containing plenty of<br />

suggestions for teachers on how to effectively exploit the materials.<br />

Electronic glossary with pronunciation was provided.<br />

2. Targ<strong>et</strong> groups<br />

On the project’s website the following targ<strong>et</strong> groups are enumerated:<br />

- students construction schools students<br />

- construction workers<br />

- English language teachers<br />

- non-qualified workers who want to improve their technical English language skills<br />

Using this tool does not require high level of ICT skills, after installing the app, it looks easy to use.<br />

As for comp<strong>et</strong>ences it aims to develop technical language, particularly language for workers/students<br />

in construction sector.<br />

3.2. Thematic Area Process<br />

Describe the solution from the perspective of e<strong>CAL</strong><br />

After downloading the app you have an access to 4 different modules: 1. Basic construction<br />

elements; Construction site facilities; Communication and employment; Technical documentation<br />

and H@S terms. Each module consists of 15 lessons, with video materials and following exercises (<br />

matching exercises, filling in gaps, crosswords, finding synonyms/opposites, listening/reading<br />

comprehension). On compl<strong>et</strong>ing each exercise, a student can be assessed immediately by<br />

submitting his/her answers (score in points and percent is shown).
