Step 2: Analysis<br />
Each partner selected 6 examples from all member states of the European Union. Each of the six<br />
examples selected by the partners were screened by Focus Groups in each partner country.<br />
Partners compl<strong>et</strong>ed the research templates collecting and assessing all selected examples. The research<br />
template contained general information required in order to draft an overview on the examples, but<br />
each also focussing upon specific thematic areas relating to its relevance concerning “Comp<strong>et</strong>ence”,<br />
“Process”, “Communication” and “Resources”.<br />
The assessment addressed it`s clarity, credibility and contribution relevance from the e-<strong>CAL</strong><br />
perspective.<br />

Partners also indicated the trend/s relevant to each Best Practice, case and example by summarising<br />
the analysis.<br />
Step 3: Conclusions<br />
This combined analysis report consists of an European review exploring the way in which support and<br />
guidance is available to adult language learners in case of self-directed learning when using<br />
web based OER . In mean time the analysis delivered inputs to other e-<strong>CAL</strong> outcomes like<br />
gui<strong>des</strong> and the e-courses. This analysis report was <strong>des</strong>igned in PDF format for any dissemination<br />
purposes. It is available in English only.
