On the platform there is a TALK section, that enables users to communicate directly with native<br />

speakers from different countries, they can make contact with them using chat, or send messages<br />

using the platform.<br />

3.4.Thematic Area Resources<br />

Describe the solution from the perspective of e<strong>CAL</strong><br />

The platform has a wide vari<strong>et</strong>y of content presented in a vari<strong>et</strong>y of formats like texts, videos,<br />

pictures. The videos include music videos, TED talks, documentaries or educational cartoons for kids,<br />

<strong>et</strong>c. and what’s important they all have subtitles. The texts include equal vari<strong>et</strong>y in terms of subject<br />

matter and difficulty, and they have audio transcripts, which is important for a proper pronunciation<br />

development. There are also different types of games, <strong>des</strong>cribed in 3.2 – Process, which l<strong>et</strong>s a user<br />

activate the material they acquired, check their progress or confront their knowledge with other users.<br />
