OBJECTIVES: The platform was created:<br />

- to support third countries migrants in their path of integration and to acquire language skills. In<br />

particular it is aimed at those who are interested to me<strong>et</strong> its commitments under the Agreement of<br />

Integration (179/2011 DPR) and DM 4 June 2010 containing the modalities of the test on the Italian<br />

language knowledge;<br />

- to implement the Italian language training offer through tools and materials to support the<br />

autonomous <strong>des</strong>ign of teachers of Italian language for foreigners who belong to the Permanent<br />

Territorial Centres (CTP).<br />

Migrants and Italian L2 teachers, but in a large sense to all those who want learn Italian.<br />

Describe the solution from the perspective of e<strong>CAL</strong><br />

The website re-arranges and enhances multimedia products made by RAI with the two ministries<br />

involved, In Italia e Cantieri d’Italia, and those produced by other institutional organizations to make<br />

them accessible on a single platform. Two are the main sections:<br />

- Impariamo l’italiano (Learning Italian), for adult migrants;<br />

- Naviga nell’italiano (Surfing on Italian), for L2 teachers.<br />

3.2.Thematic Area Process<br />

On the there are two sections as mentioned before addressed one to L2 learners and on to L2<br />

Teachers, two further section dedicated to civic culture and civic life and to National initiatives.<br />

As mentioned above the website is divided into two parts:<br />

1 st Section: Impariamo l’italiano (Learning Italian)<br />

A series of “lessons” sorted into 4 levels (A1, A2 , B1 and B2), whose contents are obtained from<br />

the inventory of knowledge related to vocabulary, expressions, phrases, grammar and basic<br />

language structures present in the “Guidelines” developed by the Italian Ministry of Education for<br />

the <strong>des</strong>ign of literacy and learning of the Italian language addressed to migrants.
