(In thousands o f dollars. Data represent estimates of expected lifetime earnings from specified age to age 64. Estimates for
workers at a particular age were calculated by summing, the product of the mean earnings at each age from a specified age to
age 64, the probability of surviving to each age from the starting age, and the probability of being employed at each age.
Discount rates (difference between interest rates and the rate of inflation) are used to deflate future earnings into present value
(constant 1981 dollars). Productivity rates represent growth in real earnings adjusting for inflation. For additional Information on
