Accelerated Science Courses<br />
The College of Science <strong>and</strong> Integrative Health offers undergraduate-level accelerated science courses<br />
independent of program admission. All accelerated science courses take place over four or five weekends.<br />
Classes <strong>and</strong> laboratories are offered on either Friday <strong>and</strong> Saturday or Saturday <strong>and</strong> Sunday, depending on the<br />

Southern Cali<strong>for</strong>nia University of Health Sciences is accredited by WASC Senior College <strong>and</strong> University<br />

Admissions<br />
Application Requirements<br />
• Completed application <strong>for</strong> admission. The online <strong>for</strong>m is available <strong>and</strong> submitted through<br />
www.scuhs.edu<br />
• $50 application fee (non-refundable). Submit with the application <strong>for</strong>m. Credit card payments are<br />
accepted through the online application <strong>for</strong> admission. Or make a check or money order payable to SCU.<br />
• Graduating high school transcript. Request from the high school to have it sent directly to SCU in a sealed<br />
envelope, or arrange through parchment.com or studentclearinghouse.org<br />
• If applying <strong>for</strong> a second- or third-level course (ex. Biology II), official transcript from the college <strong>and</strong>/or<br />
university previously attended, showing all prerequisite coursework completed. Request from each<br />
college <strong>and</strong>/or university to have it sent directly to SCU in a sealed envelope, or arrange through<br />
parchment.com or studentclearinghouse.org<br />
• Scanned copy of applicant’s valid driver’s license or passport.<br />
• Scanned copy of applicant’s Social Security Card.<br />

Academic Requirements<br />
All entry-level science courses require, at minimum, graduation from high school or completion of a GED. All<br />
second- <strong>and</strong> third-level courses require completion of the prerequisite courses from SCU, or equivalent.<br />
Applicants must pass prerequisite courses with a grade of C or better (70%). Prerequisite coursework must have<br />
been completed within the past 7 years.<br />
