The graduate will describe basic western Anatomy <strong>and</strong> Physiology including pathology <strong>for</strong> common diseases.<br />

Evidence-In<strong>for</strong>med Practice<br />

Synthesize <strong>and</strong> apply historical <strong>and</strong> scientific evidence in clinical practice.<br />

Admissions<br />

Application Requirements (Continuing Students)<br />

Applicants <strong>for</strong> admission must provide:<br />

• Completed application <strong>for</strong> admission. The online <strong>for</strong>m is available <strong>and</strong> submitted through<br />

www.scuhs.edu<br />

• Personal statement of motivation, minimum of 150 words (include a personal <strong>and</strong> academic history <strong>and</strong><br />

indication of why you are interested in a career in Ayurveda). Include in the online application <strong>and</strong>/or<br />

email separately.<br />

Please have transcripts, letters of recommendation, <strong>and</strong>/or other print items mailed to:<br />

Scans <strong>and</strong> other electronic items may be emailed to an admissions advisor or to admissions@scuhs.edu<br />

Transfer Students<br />

Applicants <strong>for</strong> admission must provide:<br />

• Completed application <strong>for</strong> admission. The online <strong>for</strong>m is available <strong>and</strong> submitted through<br />

www.scuhs.edu<br />

• $50 application fee (non-refundable). Submit with the application <strong>for</strong>m. Credit card payments are<br />

accepted through the online application <strong>for</strong> admission. Or make a check or money order payable to SCU.<br />

• Official transcripts from the previous Ayurveda institution.<br />

• Personal statement of motivation, minimum of 300 words (include a personal <strong>and</strong> academic history <strong>and</strong><br />

indication of why you are interested in a career in Ayurveda). Include in the online application <strong>and</strong>/or<br />

email separately.<br />

• Scanned copy of applicant’s valid driver’s license or passport.<br />

• Scanned copy of applicant’s Social Security Card.<br />
