AY2501 – Ayurvedic Internal Medicine I<br />
Units: 6<br />
This course is designed to teach the students the ability to develop record, implement <strong>and</strong> adapt a patient<br />
management plan from an Ayurvedic perspective <strong>for</strong> specific diseases based on the needs of the patient. Case<br />
taking, differential diagnosis, diet, herbs, <strong>for</strong> MAMSA/ASTHIVAHA SROTAS, VATA ROGAS<br />
(neuromusculoskeletal diseases), RAKTAVAHA SROTAS (circulatory system), PRANAVAHA SROTAS (respiratory<br />
system) <strong>and</strong> MOOTHRAVAHA (Urinary system) conditions are explained in detail. Additionally, an overview of<br />
the Western etiology, pathogenesis <strong>and</strong> clinical features of conditions equivalent to those discussed from an<br />
ayurvedic perspective will also discussed.<br />
Prerequisites: AY2000, AY2100, AY2200, AY2400<br />

AY2502 – Ayurvedic Internal Medicine II<br />
Units: 6<br />

are explained in detail. Additionally, an overview of the Western etiology, pathogenesis <strong>and</strong> clinical features<br />
of conditions equivalent to those discussed from an ayurvedic perspective will also discussed.<br />

AY2600 – Ayurveda Practitioner Project<br />
Units: 7<br />
Students are required to complete the project in Ayurveda be<strong>for</strong>e the graduation. A topic must be approved<br />
be<strong>for</strong>e starting the project. Students are required to write a case study or literature review in any topics in<br />
Ayurveda.<br />

AYCLIN1A – Ayurvedic Clinic I<br />
Units: 2<br />
This course offers the students an opportunity to receive h<strong>and</strong>s-on training in clinical practice. Students will<br />
develop the knowledge <strong>and</strong> skills <strong>for</strong> Ayurvedic wellness education practice under the supervision of an<br />
experienced Ayurvedic practitioner.<br />
Restrictions: Ayurvedic Wellness Educator Certificate program only<br />
AYCLIN1B – Ayurvedic Clinic II<br />
Units: 2<br />
This course offers the students an opportunity to receive h<strong>and</strong>s-on training in clinical practice. Students will<br />
develop the knowledge <strong>and</strong> skills <strong>for</strong> Ayurvedic wellness education practice under the supervision of an<br />
experienced Ayurvedic practitioner.<br />
