CL10T09 – Chiropractic Internship II<br />
Units: 12<br />
This course is designed to develop the knowledge, skills <strong>and</strong> behaviors necessary <strong>for</strong> chiropractic clinical<br />
practice. Student interns will actively participate in patient care while under the supervision of a licensed<br />
doctor of chiropractic. Students will also engage in various other educational experiences, including<br />
workshops, clinic rounds, guest lectures, st<strong>and</strong>ardized patient encounters, clinic promotional activities,<br />
satellite rotations, dermatology, laboratory clerkship <strong>and</strong> Advanced Clinical Topics modules <strong>and</strong> working in<br />
private practices.<br />
Prerequisites: CL10T08, minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0, ID03PT<br />

CL10T10 – Chiropractic Internship III<br />
Units: 12<br />
This course is designed to develop the knowledge, skills <strong>and</strong> behaviors necessary <strong>for</strong> chiropractic clinical<br />
practice. Student interns will actively participate in patient care while under the supervision of a licensed<br />
doctor of chiropractic. Students will also engage in various other educational experiences. Clinical Internship<br />
is a sequential, three-part educational program, during which students will meet specified course objectives<br />
that satisfy the program learning outcomes.<br />
Prerequisites: CL10T09, minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0<br />

CMP401 – Clinical Medicine II: <strong>Principles</strong> of Clinical Medicine<br />
Units: 5<br />
This course is designed to provide an intensive study of human disease across the lifespan, from pediatrics to<br />
geriatrics in the areas of clinical medicine. This will include epidemiology, etiology, historical data, clinical<br />
manifestations, progression, therapeutic management, prevention, laboratory medicine <strong>and</strong> prognosis. This<br />
course will emphasize on disease processes most commonly encountered in Primary Care. There will also be<br />
emphasis on the process of synthesizing collected in<strong>for</strong>mation to determine differential diagnoses <strong>and</strong><br />
<strong>for</strong>mulation of a plan based on the patient’s clinical presentation.<br />

CN0500 – Clinical Neurology<br />
Units: 2<br />
This course presents the common manifestations of neurological diseases <strong>and</strong> their differential diagnoses.<br />
Emphasis is given to those conditions commonly encountered in the practice of chiropractic <strong>and</strong> includes<br />
disorders of the central <strong>and</strong> peripheral nervous systems, <strong>and</strong> the musculoskeletal disorders that affect<br />
nervous system function.<br />
