This total excludes those among theunemployed, plus the unemployed not seeking work, pensioners <strong>and</strong> children both in primary <strong>and</strong>secondary schools, as well as full-time students in all tertiary institutions. As expected the servicesectors will account for more than 73% of the sick work force, with “Wholesale <strong>and</strong> retail, hotels<strong>and</strong> restaurants” (65.4)000, “Community, social <strong>and</strong> personal services” (31.7)000 <strong>and</strong> “Transport,storage <strong>and</strong> communication” (23.5)000, accounting for the highest levels of affected persons notonly among the service sectors but across all sectors throughout the economy. Among the goodsproducingsectors, “Agriculture, forestry <strong>and</strong> fishing” st<strong>and</strong>s out with 20.7(000) workers. Overallthree of the ten sectors will be the least impacted with sick workers: “Industry not specified”(0.22)000“Electricity, gas <strong>and</strong> water” with (0.77)000 <strong>and</strong> “Mining” with (1.23)000 sick workers.The percentage among the security forces is expected to be disproportionately high as a result ofthe barracking of personnel <strong>and</strong>, if they are not vaccinated, it is expected to be close to 30 percent.The loss in man hours is projected to be 15.1 million overall.
