ce of Immigrant Syndrome with Chronic Stress and Multiple (SIECM) or Ulysses<br />

Syndrome (Achotegui, 2008). Given the need to document this condition the present<br />

study which aims to analyze the presence of SIECM in 80 Central American<br />

migrants whom were assisted in the Casa del Migrante in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico.<br />

For that, an assessing scale with 54 items that measured 7 duels migration was designed:<br />

(1) family and loved ones, (2) language, (3) culture, (4) land, (5) social status,<br />

(6) contact with the group of belonging and (7) the risks to physical integrity. It concluded<br />

that the incidence of symptoms in the migrants interviewed was a greater<br />

or lesser extent depending on the risk factors that showed each of them, as it were:<br />

the cultural and language changes, the feeling of loneliness by family separation<br />

and loved ones, the feeling of hopelessness and fatigue, inability to comply with<br />

the immigration project that has set the person, the difficulties to fully integrate into<br />

society. These stressors are particularly sensitive to the multiplicity, intensity and<br />

chronicity to the absence of sense of control, and the size and importance of the<br />

social support network of the person.<br />
