La postazione di controllo si contraddistingue per l’ergonomicità e la sicurezza a favore del personale che
opera al suo interno. La forma a spirale si ispira alla limitrofa scala realizzata negli anni ’70 su progetto dell'arch.
Spadolini, da cui trae anche l’utilizzo del materiale che ne costituisce sia la parte strutturale che di rivestimento:
rovere sfibrato e curvato.
The check-station stands out for the ergonomics and safety standards meant for the staff working inside.
The helical shape is inspired by the neighbouring stairs carried out in the seventies and designed by architect
Spadolini, and makes use of the same material for both the structural part and the cladding: curved
and scraped wood.
La forma dinamica della postazione introduce il
visitatore verso la scala che conduce ai vari uffici
di direzione generale della banca. La superficie
verticale segue la curvatura con la funzione di
protezione dei commessi. Nella struttura lignea
sono integrate le apparecchiature tecnologiche
(monitor, impianto clima, ecc.); sono presenti
un sistema di illuminazione ben calibrato
e un impianto di climatizzazione efficiente che
generano un alto grado di benessere.

Il materialie utilizzato, rovere sfibrato e curvato,
è ecocompatibile; la struttura può essere
disassemblata senza alterare la struttura
architettonica.

Check-station at the old offices
of Monte Paschi Siena
The dynamic shape of the station introduces
the visitor to the stairs leading to the offices
of the general management of the bank.
The vertical surface follows the curving, to
protect the clerks. The equipment is integrated
in the wooden structure.

The material used, curved and scraped wood,
is eco-compatible: the structure may be
disassembled without altering the architectural
structure. ■
