Un edificio multifunzionale, ideale per ospitare numerosi tipi di eventi, che ruota attorno alla divisione
funzionale tra due le aree principali (la sala centrale e la sala multifunzionale, divise da un’asse
centrale) finalizzata a creare l’equilibrio tra i due spazi.
A multifunctional building, a perfect venue for several kinds of events, rotating on the functional
division between two main areas (the central room and the multi-purpose room, divided by
a central axis) meant to create a balance between the two areas.
La sala multifunzionale è pensata per un uso
informale mentre quella centrale ha un tono più
tradizionale e ufficiale; ciascuna con le proprie
peculiarità sottolineate dall’uso di materiali ed
elementi estetici distintivi.

Nella sala centrale i pavimenti, le pareti e il
soffitto, rivestiti in quercia bianca americana,
creano un effetto visivo sorprendente e
ottimizzano le proprietà acustiche dello spazio.
La quercia bianca americana svolge un ruolo
importante anche nella spettacolare hall
d’ingresso, dove la continuità delle pareti in
cemento dietro l’area reception viene interrotta
da un’apertura sull’enorme murale di Teresa
Ramón.

The multi-purpose room is for an informal use,
while the central one is more conventional and
official; each one with its own peculiarities
stressed by the use of distinctive, aesthetic
components and materials.

In the central room walls, floor and ceiling
in white American oak create an amazing visual
effect and optimize the sound properties of
the room. The white American oak plays a chief
role also in the striking entrance hall, where
the uninterrupted concrete walls behind the
reception area are broken by an opening in
the huge Teresa Ramón’s mural. ■

An exemple of integrated architecture, where every different scale of the spaces is meant to
represent the brand, whose main task deals with concrete and water treatments.

Un sistema integrato per pareti, illuminazione,
controsoffitti, pavimento ha reso possibile
l’azzeramento degli elementi di raccordo visibili
pur preservando funzionalità e flessibilità degli
spazi. Ne risulta un’architettura coerentemente
minimale negli esterni e negli interiors, dove la
nuda levità del vetro esalta la solidità del
calcestruzzo, core business dell’azienda.

An integrated system of walls, ceilings, lighting
and floor made possible to hide all the junctions,
saving, on the other hand, the flexibility of the
spaces. The result is an architecture coherent
and minimal both in its exteriors and interiors,
where the light glass underlines the solidity
of concrete, core business of the brand. ■
