La riqualificazione dell'area dell’ex Foro Boario, che contribuirà a costituire la Verona del futuro anche grazie
alla grande attenzione riservata agli aspetti ecologici, comprende una torre direzionale e un business hotel.
L’intervento crea un insieme di regole che lo renda riconoscibile in un contesto attualmente incoerente.
The upgrading of the former Foro Boario area, which is going to help building the Verona of the future
also thanks to the emphasis given on the ecological aspects, includes a business tower and a business
hotel. The project creates a set of rules to make it recognizable into a now inconsistent context.

Uffici, Montebelluna (TV)

La facciata principale è movimentata da grandi
vele curve rivestite in lamiera di acciaio inox che
creano un effetto “stropicciato”. La facciata sud
è protetta da un frangisole in alluminio.
I pannelli fotovoltaici provvedono alla parziale
produzione di energia elettrica (50Kw) e acqua
calda; il sistema di riscaldamento/raffrescamento
è posto a soffitto.
Offices, Montebelluna (TV)
The main front is enlivened by large, curved
crowns faced in stainless steel sheet, that
create a “creased” effect. The south front is
protected by a sunshade in aluminium.
The photovoltaic panels provide for the partial
production of electricity (50Kw) and hot water;
the cooling/ heating system is installed in
the ceiling. ■
La composizione è ritmata da pieni e vuoti, da
edifici verticali – nuovi landmark – e da corpi
orizzontali, riferiti alla scala di percezione di pedoni
e automobilisti. All’interno dell’area sono previsti un
“Cuore Verde” e sistemi eco-sostenibili innovativi:
facciate a doppia pelle con ventilazione meccanica;
produzione di acqua calda demandata alla rete di
teleriscaldamento; facciate e coperture dotate di
pannelli solari e fotovoltaici evoluti.
Multipurpose Centre, Verona
The composition is stressed by full and empty
spaces, vertical buildings – new landmarks – and
horizontal bodies. Inside the area a “Green
Heart” is planned, as well as some innovative,
eco-sustainable systems: double-skin fronts with
mechanical ventilation; production of hot water
remitted to the district heating, fronts and roofing
supplied with advanced photovoltaic and solar
panels. ■
