NOMADIC LIFESTYLE MOBILE

NOMADIC LIFESTYLE MOBILE NETWORKS PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT Mobile Networks in a Zettabyte Era Annual global IP traffic will surpass the zettabyte threshold in 2016, and will reach 2.3 ZB by 2020, says Cisco‘s VNI Forecast Highlights. The information highway traffic will increase nearly threefold over the next 5 years, and will have increased nearly 100-fold from 2005 to 2020. It’s like a 100-lane highway going in where your street used to be. And it won’t be the familiar internet traffic of your father’s day. The internet is changing as mobile networks and wireless connectivity transform the landscape. And it’s only starting… First, smartphone traffic will exceed PC traffic by 2020. In 2015, PCs accounted for 53% of total IP traffic, but will drop to only 29% of traffic by 2020 as smartphones take up 30% (up from 8% in 2015). It’s not that PC-originated traffic is falling-- once 100% of internet traffic. PC traffic will still grow at a CAGR of 8%, but TVs, tablets, smartphones, and machine-tomachine (M2M) modules will have faster traffic growth at 17%, 39%, 58%, and 44%, respectively. Second, in 2015 wired devices accounted for the majority of IP traffic (52%). But traffic from wireless and mobile devices will account for 66% of total IP traffic by 2020 (and wired devices fall to 34%). Third, IoT (part of M2M) promises a further transformation. The number of devices connected to IP networks will be three times as high as the global population in 2020. There will be 3.4 networked devices per capita by 2020. And broadband speeds will have to nearly double by 2020. By 2020, global fixed broadband speeds will reach 47.7 Mbps, up from 24.7 Mbps in 2015. It’s all about making mobile networks reach us at all times, all places as staying connected to the internet has become the single most important driving force in consumer electronics BOOST YOUR INTERNET Invented by Cortex Systems in France, Dyrun Home products greatly improve a network provider's signal strength.
