parents to avoid the MMR; many children were hospitalized and several died from measles
as a result. Nor, Poling and Healy are standard-bearers for the poorly conceived hypothesis
that children receive too many vaccines too early. As a consequence, some parents are

Volksgezondheid – het gevaar van vaccinatie te ontkennen, noemt hij nou net op waardoor
volgens mijn theorie ontwikkelingsschade in de vorm van bijvoorbeeld autisme kan ontstaan.
Hij noemt de frequente oorinfecties en een serie andere virale infecties vroeg in het leven van
Hannah, juist in de periode waarin de meeste vaccinaties normaliter plaatsvinden. Het hele
verhaal doet sterk denken aan de casus van Ebel, terwijl ook de symptomen overeenkomst
vertonen. Waarschijnlijk is Ebels toestand dan ook te definiëren als een vorm van na de
geboorte – ofwel na de eerste vaccinaties – opgetreden regressieve encefalopathie met
autistische kenmerken.
Gecombineerde vaccins leiden tot een heviger stress-respons
In het voorgaande werd opgemerkt dat tegenstanders van vaccinatie denken dat het vaccin of
de combinatie van vaccins de enige boosdoener is. En volgens de theorie van Seligman
betreffende het GAS-syndroom zit daar ook wel iets in. Tenslotte leiden de antigenen in de
entstof tot lichamelijke stress vanwege de prikkeling van het immuunsysteem dat
antilichamen moet gaan produceren.
Hoewel die stress meestal van korte duur is en ook meestal goed afloopt, is het toch een niet
te onderschatten variabele, hetgeen pas duidelijker wordt door de huidige combinatievaccins.
