<strong>Radu</strong> <strong>Vrasti</strong><strong>Reglarea</strong> Emotionalaprezinta o perturbare <strong>emotionala</strong> evidenta, cu reactii intense la stimuli emotionali,impulsivitate si cu o afectare a auto-controlului. De exemplu, Casey (1996) 146 gaseste caacesti copii cu ADHD prezinta o expresie faciala si schimbari faciale mai evidente decatceilalti copii, cand au emotii sau joaca jocuri emotionale. Ei nu au abilitatea sa recunoascaemotiile sau sa aleaga strategii pentru controlul lor, nu pot raspunde corect la frustrari,contrarietati, criticism, evenimente negative (Walcot si Landau, 2004) 147 . In schimbprezinta foarte des stari de dezinhibitie si incapacitate de amanare, cauta senzatiile si isiasuma riscuri. In linii mari, copii si adolescentii cu ADHD prezinta doua mari categorii deprobleme (Barkley, 1997) 148 : i) probleme de atentie cu afectarea sustinerii focusului,incapacitate de a rezista la stimuli distractivi, deficienta de a se reangaja in sarcina, afectarea memoriei operationale, stare de alerta crescuta si ii) probleme de impulsivitate sihiperkinezie cu luarea de decizii impulsive, incapacitate de a amana gratificarea, ignorareaconsecintelor, motricitate si comportament verbal excesiv, neliniste si agitatie, deficienta deauto-reglare a comportamentului si impulsivitate <strong>emotionala</strong>.Tulburarea disruptiva de dereglare a dispozitiei este o entitate clinica noua,introdusa in versiunea DSM-5, care vine sa puna un pic de ordine intre tulburarileemotional explosive si impulsive si care au fost mult timp etichetate in mod abuziv catulburari bipolare sau ca ADHD. Acesti copii prezinta frecvente eruptii temperamentalecare interfera cu abilitatea de functionare in general si mai ales cu autoritatea parentala sauscolara. La inceput au fost diagnosticati ca bipolari, dar s-a vazut in studii follow-up ca einu dezvolta tulburare bipolara la varsta adulta.
