mountainous landscape, high above St. Anton’s
village centre Hotel Grischuna has been welcoming
guests from all over the world for
almost 70 years. Max Sattler took over his
parents’ hotel with the goal to make it a place
where he would like to spend his holidays. A
hotel where everything is a little different than
elsewhere. In the course of numerous stays
in hotels all over the world the trained hotel
manager developed his very own vision and in
2016 he finally realised them with a large-scale
reconstruction at Hotel Grischuna which had
just been handed over to him. Today he successfully
runs it in the second generation together
with his partner. An interview about new
beginnings, highlights, and the culinary variety
at the hotel’s own restaurant.
