goes we focus on Austrian classic. I personally put the wine<br />

menu together because I’ve been able gather quite a bit of<br />

know-how during my travels. Of course, we also have Italian<br />

or French wines but the focus clearly lies on Austrian ones.<br />

L.L. <strong>St</strong>. <strong>Anton</strong> is very well known as a winter<br />

sports destination. What does <strong>St</strong>. <strong>Anton</strong><br />

have to offer off-piste? How does one spend<br />

the summer on the <strong>Arlberg</strong>?<br />

M.S. The Summer Card is very popular and<br />

well-received, our guests also look forward to<br />

exploring the region on our own e-bikes, they<br />

also enjoy archery and yoga. In winter skiing<br />

obviously is the highlight, but there are other<br />

options, too: from <strong>St</strong>. <strong>Anton</strong>’s night life to the<br />

gyms, ARLBERG-well.com, the Hospiz’ art<br />

exhibition…there’s a lot on offer!<br />

L.L. What do you think, in what direction<br />

will the <strong>Arlberg</strong>’s hotels (have to) develop in<br />

the future?<br />

M.S. Holidaymakers don’t just want to be<br />

a number, they want to be known by n<strong>am</strong>e.<br />

Personal talks and inside tips are becoming<br />

more and more important – there’s a trend<br />

toward individuality.<br />
