At only two years of age Mario Matt stood on
skis for the first time – only four years later the
Tyrolean entered his first race. And it was not
going to be his last! In the course of his career
the Arlberg Eagle gathered 42 podium positions,
most of which in slalom. In his interview
with La Loupe, Mario Matt talks about his most
significant successes, his passion for horses and
après ski, and new challenges after the life as a
professional athlete.
