Five years ago, four hotel
owners founded the association
Kulinarik & Kunst
in St. Anton am Arlberg.
Their central idea: quality
and highest standards
packed in a unique event
that mixed cuisine and art
and was supposed to amaze
numerous Arlberg-guests in
summer. Between August 17
and September 9 2018 the
festival will take place for
the fourth time in the world-famous
skiing area and by
now it has become a culinary
and artistic highlight.

New events
One of the highlights is Gourmet Gondel Gipfelsturm
– a cable car ride with six award-winning
chefs, accompanied by Gérard Depardieu and
Eckart Witzigmann – but this year it certainly is
not the only one, there are numerous new events
for a broader public. The 1st Arlberg Genuss Campus
enables participants to try signature dishes
by 18 international star chefs, winemakers from
Austria and abroad, as well as international bartenders
in huts and at stalls. On top of that there
are producers from the region of Tyrol, Vorarlberg,
Switzerland, and South Tyrol who all present
high-class products that can be tried and, of
course, bought by the guests. During the kitchen
battle, however, it’ll be all about two teams, each
made up of five people and a star-chef, making
a five-course meal for 40 people. Aside from
that Kids & Chefs sees duels between teams of
kid-chefs under guidance
of award-winning chef
James Baron and the
Swiss master chef Ralph
Schelling – afterwards the
parents will try the dishes
and select a winning
team.

programme will be
kicked off by Neo Hanno
Rauch and the German
neo-expressionist Elvira
Bach as well as Nikolai
Makarov from Moscow
and Michel Würthle from
