S.F. Our Bouillabaisse, which we keep making better and
better, is definitely worth trying. Each head chef has added
their own note – as of last year it has chili in it, for example.
Kulinarik & Genuss
In general, I think everybody should eat what they like but
with certain things one should take it
easy. I always take my tea without sugar,
for example. And avoiding white flour
also is a good call, it has hidden sugar
– of course a white “Semmel” roll tastes
nice, but a dark “Vinschgerl” is definitely
healthier.
M.W. For me what counts is the taste,
the design only comes after. We focus on
making everything taste good first, only
then do we start working on presenting it
in a special and stylish way.
L.L. Verwallstube is one of the Arlberg’s
most exclusive addresses. Do I need to
worry about walking in there in my
skiing gear?
S.F. You can come in here in your ski
boots and – if you’re lucky – simply grab a
table. The tables are quite popular though,
and the restaurant is full most of the time.
L.L. You are both very busy men. Do
you get a day off every once in a while – and how do you
like the spend your time in St. Anton?
M.W. I like to go swimming, in winter to the indoor pool, it’s
a great way to relax and I get a lot of new ideas.
