Zum 100. eine Limited Edition
Am 29. Mai wäre Asics-Gründer Kihachiro Onitsuka
100 Jahre alt geworden. Zu Ehren Onitsukas bringt
Asics die Limited Edition KO100 auf den Markt. Sie
umfasst Schuhe für die Marken Asics, Asicstiger
und Onitsuka Tiger und kommt in farbintensivem
Sonnenblumen-Design in Rot-, Orange- und Gelbtönen.
Die Inspiration habe Onitsukas Begeisterung
für den Maler Vincent von Gogh geliefert. Für jedes
verkaufte Produkt der Limited Edition werde Asics
10 US-Dollar an die Hilfsorganisation Right to Play
spenden, die mit dem Erlös syrischen Flüchtlingskindern
im Libanon verschiedene sportliche
Aktivitäten ermöglichen will.
EU-STUDIE
So bedeutend ist die
Sportartikelindustrie
Einer Studie zufolge setzt die Sportartikelindustrie
etwa 81,5 Mrd. Euro um. Der Wert der innereuropäischen
Produktion beläuft sich auf ca. 14,6 Mrd. Euro.
her weiter beworben werden müssen.
TEAMSPORT
Adidas bleibt Sponsor der
UEFA Champions League
Bereits seit 2001 stellt Adidas den offiziellen
Spielball der europäischen Fußball-Königsklasse.
Diese Partnerschaft wird nun mindestens bis 2021
weiterbestehen. Im Oktober des vergangenen
Jahres war überraschend bekannt
geworden, dass sich Adidas ab der
kommenden Saison als Balllieferant
der UEFA Euro League zurückzieht.
Ab der Spielzeit 2018/19 wird Molten
den Euro League-Ball stellen. Adidas
EU STUDY
This is how important the
sporting goods industry is
According a study issued by the European
Commission and FES, the sporting goods industry
generates around 81.5 bn euros. The value of the inner-European
production amounts to 14.6 bn Euros.
The authors of the study, which was also supported
by VVA and KMU Austria, describe outdoor, running
and cycling,as well as the segments of multifunctional
clothing and smart technologies as the
current consumer top trends. But at the same time
they point at the biggest dangers for the future:
Apart from the battle against protectionist waves,
sports and a healthy lifestyle must continuously be
advertised by the public.
TEAMSPORT
Adidas remains the UEFA
Champions League‘s sponsor
Since 2011 Adidas has been providing the official
ball of Europe’s football top tier. This partnership is
going to be extended until at least 2021. The cooperation
includes the UEFA Super Cup, UEFA Youth
League and UEFA Futsal Champions
League.
Last year in October, Adidas surprisingly
announced not to extend its contract
to supply the UEFA Euro League with
balls. From the season 2018/19 Molten
is going to supply the Euro League ball.
Additionally, Adidas did not even take
part in the tendering for the German
Bundesliga league ball. Here, Derbystar
is the beneficiary.
Manuel Neuer is going to save Adidas balls
during Champions League Games as well.
