Maier Sports: Full innovation speed ahead!
Maier Sports stands for perfect fit and a wide range of sizes. The specialist
for pants does not only score with high reliability and outstanding functions,
but also with its inventive spirit and sense for the market. Here are three,
convincing examples for it from the spring/summer collection 2019.
Pyrit M
Bermuda
The first example is the model Pyrit, cool functional pants in casual denim
look. They look like jeans, but they are technical trekking pants made for
travelling and leisure time. With the Pyrit for women and men, Maier Sports
successfully outshines conventional denim pants. This model offers fans of
jeans their favourite look. However, apart from this cool look, it is elastic, very
soft and quick-drying, thanks to the cotton/polyester/elastane mix. Above that,
the Pyrit features an environmentally friendly, PFC free waterproofing. The
new model convinces with perfect fit, including fasteners at the waistband
allowing individual adjustment. Another nice detail is the modern turn-up at
the leg bottom. The pants ensure a cool look and high functionality in nature,
while travelling or in leisure time. The Pyrit pants are additionally available as
Bermuda shorts for women and men and as Capri pants for women.
The trekking tights Ophit Plus W. have a bit of sex appeal.
Meanwhile, tights have firmly established themselves into
the hiking regions. With the tights Ophit Plus W, Maier Sport
follows the athleisure trend and presents a more sturdy version
of this young species. The bi-elastic tights ensure full freedom
of movement and are even suitable for climbing, thanks to
the abrasion-resistant inserts at the knees and the seat. The
waistband, equipped with draw cord and flex zone at the back,
supports the perfect fit of these athletic yet feminine pants. The
side pockets with the fine seam that does not bulk are further
useful details. Above that, the tights dry quickly and have high
moisture-wicking properties as well as an environmentally
friendly, PFC free impregnation. The line is complemented by
the already established models Ophit W and Ophit Capri W.

Metor Recycling W
After the success of the PFC free impregnation, the subject conservation of
resources reaches a new level at Maier Sports in spring/summer 19 with the
Mission Clean Function. The Metor Recycling is the recycled version of the
perfectly fitting, all-season model Meteor. The polyester fabric of the pack-away
jacket is made from old, recycled fishing nets and PET materials. With this jacket,
the German brand demonstrates that it consequently follows its wide-range-offits
concept in the category “highly functional trekking and rain jackets”, too: the
Meteor Recycling is available in short and long length in many different sizes.
