k Article 17, paragraph 2, states:<br />

“For any State which deposits its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval<br />

or accession after the date of the deposit of the 40th instrument of ratification,<br />

acceptance, approval or accession, this Convention shall enter into force on the<br />

first day of the sixth month after the date on which that State has deposited its<br />

instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession.”<br />

l Article XXV, states:<br />

“This Convention shall enter into force on the 30th day following the date of deposit<br />

of the second instrument of ratification. For each State ratifying the Convention<br />

after the deposit of the second instrument of ratification, the Convention shall enter<br />

into force on the 30th day following deposit by such State of its instrument of<br />

ratification.”
