As far as <strong>the</strong> structure of bespoke <strong>and</strong> ready-made is concerned, 50 per cent<br />

of bespoke shoemakers did not employ any workmen, 17 per cent only one, 25<br />

per cent a number between 2 <strong>and</strong> 10 <strong>and</strong> a small 6.5 per cent more than 10<br />

workmen (fig. 7.2).<br />
