(c) Using SST and spring tension gauge, measure the starting torque of the counter shaft. SST 09350-32014 (09351-32170) Starting torque: with spring tension gauge 12 - 20 N (1.2 - 2.0 kg, 2.6 - 4.4 lb) with torque gauge (hexagon nut side) New bearing 0.6 - 1.0 N-m (6 - 10 kgf-cm, 5.2 - 8.7 in.-lbf) Reused bearing 0.3 - 0.5 N-m (3 - 5 kgf-cm, 2.6 - 4.3 in.-lbf) If the torque is exceeded, replace the spacer. (a) Using SST, remove the lock nut. SST 09350-32014 (09351-32170) 3. REMOVE SNAP RING FROM SUN GEAR Using snap ring pliers, remove the snap ring from the sun gear. 4. REMOVE SNAP RING FROM COUNTER SHAFT AS- SEMBLY Using a screwdriver, remove the snap ring from the counter shaft assembly. 5. REMOVE UNDERDRIVE PLANETARY GEAR
