He lived some years in Leicester, removed to Brimfield, Mass.,<br />

<strong>and</strong> thence to "-German Flats," now Ilion, Herkimer Co., N. Y.,<br />

where he worked many years as a gunsmith. He was a private in<br />

the company of militia, which, under the comm<strong>and</strong> of Capt. Thomas<br />

Newhall, marched from Leicester to Cambridge, on the alarm of the<br />

19th of April, 1775.<br />

are in their proper position in respect to one another. It is said that<br />
